Bondi to Bronte Coast Walk

I personally love walking along the coastal line. The fresh air never ceased to make me feeling alive, in the times of feeling stress, being out door and especially doing meditation is my way of dealing with stress.

The Bondi to Coogee walk begins at the bottom of Notts Avenue, near the Icebergs pool, South Bondi. The Bondi to Coogee walk can also be accessed by stairs via Marks park above the Bondi to the coastal walk.

The first part of the walk offers sweeping views of North and South Bondi. You can sometimes see surfers catching waves as you stroll along the path. The path sweeps around a cove and a small inlet called Mackenzies Bay to climb around the next headland to emerge near Tamarama SLSC clubhouse.

The Bondi to Tamarama walk hosts the annual Sculpture by the Sea- an artistic outdoor exhibition of over a 100 artworks displayed along the coast. It is held from 24 October - 10 November each year which makes an open air sculpture gallery.

The sculpture by the sea is inspired by a comprehensive collection of images of all exhibited sculptures including the digitisation of film archives.

To continue along the Bondi to Coogee walk either climb the steps to the footpath or walk across Tamarama beach and up some stairs near the new “Tama” cafe.Tamarama Beach and Bronte Beach are only a few hundred meters apart, the walk is level and offers great views of the Pacific Ocean.

The total length of the Walk (Ben Buckler to Waverley Cemetery) is about 4.0 km; allow 1.5 hours walking time.
