Meatball moon cake fromTaste of Shanghai

Lots of  foreigners are heard about mooncake, normally are kind of moon cake with some sweet stuffing, like red beans or lotus seeds paste,but have you heard about meatball mooncake?

This week I went to Taste of Shanghai in Eastwood branch, as the Mid-term Festival is coming, this restaurant introduced a lot of kinds moon cake, the most special one is this: meatball moon cake.  This is a special kind of moon cake in south china especially in Shanghai, the outer of the moon cake is made by puff pastry (It is different from the one that we know, they are using lard to replace butter to make it tastes different). The meat ball tastes juicy, if you ea itt when it is still hot, you actually can see the juice, and it tastes dente which is different from the meatball that we usually eat.

It is a good dim sum, if you want to try it, then go to Taste of Shanghai! You won't regret!
